From time to time family and friends tell us that they are praying
for us. We so appreciate your prayers. As you are praying for us, we
want you to know what our vision is and what things we are believing
for. There is power in agreement according to Matthew 18.
The Vision
Our missionary work here in Ukraine is all about equipping the
believers to do the work of the ministry through preaching, teaching
and training. We believe the Ukrainians themselves can manifest the
Kingdom of God to their own country.
They are to take the gospel to their marketplace, whether it is the
field of science, medicine, politics, business or academics. They
are to be ambassadors for the Lord Jesus Christ. But first, they
need to be equipped.
We equip these precious saints through Bible schools and creating
curriculum in their own
language with over 20 courses. We conduct seminars on such topics as
the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Family Relationships, Prosperity and
Faith. We conduct Healing Schools to teach them how to receive and
minister healing. We preach in different churches every Sunday
sometimes traveling three to four hours one way to get there. We
pray for, build up and minister to several local pastors in our
city.
We also sow financially into churches, pastors, the poor, and an
orphanage. We conducted the first pastors’ wives conference here in
the city of Lviv. We also speak at pastors conferences in the
different regions of western Ukraine. We minister in the city, small
towns, and the Carpathian Mountains.
It is all about getting the Word of God into the people and
ministries. We must set a good example of love to those we are
teaching. We believe we are to train others to do exactly what we
do, which is: get people saved, filled with the Holy Spirit,
minister healing to the sick, and how to sow financially.
If we are not able to reproduce ourselves into others, what will
happen if we are gone? Ministry should not stop because the
Americans are not there. Everything should increase and multiply.
What We Are Believing For In Order To Equip
The Saints In Ukraine
 1.
To go on weekly radio. We have the potential to reach over one
million people.
2. For more Ukrainian and Russian churches to open Bible schools. We
have the curriculum available for them. We want to sow it into as
many churches as we can.
3. More seminars with a concentrated time to impact the people with
the Word.
4. A vehicle – in particular a Jeep Pajero – so that we can travel
more efficiently. We are branching out into farther cities and we
need a vehicle to handle the rough roads.
5. To help the orphans. A new area has opened up with 250 children
needing all kinds of supplies.
In The US
1. Ten new churches to embrace our ministry prayerfully and
financially.
2. One hundred new partners so we can expand the ministry outreaches
including printing books, hosting conferences, reaching more areas
on radio/television.
3. A vehicle for use in the States when we are on furlough. It is
not cost effective to lease a vehicle.
You can lift these items before the Lord when you pray for us. We
believe God for increase in every area of outreach and that means an
increase in our finances as well. It is exciting to be a part of
what God is doing in this nation. We are thankful that He has sent
us here to Ukraine.
